Official Tate County Contacts
The right contact depends on which agency held the person and what document is needed. For a recent county booking, begin with the Tate County Sheriff's Office or jail. The office publishes the following contact details:
Tate County Sheriff's Office and Tate County Jail1 Justice Drive
Senatobia, MS 38668
Main office: 662-562-4434
Jail: 662-562-5466
Main fax: 662-562-9236
Jail fax: 662-562-8515
Office hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST
Those are office hours, not promised release-processing hours. Ask whether a roster removal was a community release, transfer, or data correction. For a record, identify the person and booking period, request the release date and time, release authority, and destination agency, and ask for an estimate before fees are incurred.
Use these routes for other kinds of release and custody questions:
- For a released Tate County detainee or sheriff release record, use the Home page's official verification and records-request path.
- For post-release supervision, consult Parole & Probation and the Tate County Probation & Parole Office at 908 E. F. Hale Drive, Senatobia, or 662-301-4343.
- For same-day activity, read the 24-Hour Release List explanation. Tate County does not publish a distinct recent-release feed.
- For timing or alerts, use Projected Release Date or the VINELink Check.
- For a sentenced state prisoner, use the Mississippi Department of Corrections inmate and parolee searches. MDOC record requests begin through its contact channel.
- For a signed Tate County court order, identify the court and use the official Tate County courts directory or Circuit Clerk.
- For federal or immigration custody, use the BOP Inmate Locator or ICE Online Detainee Locator. These systems cover different custody events.
